
Growing up in California, I always had a fascination with Italian food, even when the food was heavy, processed, or too filling. When I first arrived in Italy, I realized what I had been missing — real, fresh ingredients that made me feel lighter for having eaten and energized to go about my day. From swordfish to delicious pasta dishes to Napoli pizza to the very best gelato, I found that I could eat my way through Italy and not grow tired of its fresh and filling flavors.
